Don’t worry! It won’t take the FED long to raise rates again. The stock indices are very close to putting in the low of the year. Get ready for a major BULL RUN!
If you think this is going back up as quickly as it went down you might well be disappointed. Many people have gotten seriously hurt trying to pick bottoms. The ONLY way it works is where you have longer term outlooks and can take advantage of low(er) valuations with a goodly amount of purchasing power.
The many risks involved run along the amount of damage that will be done to indiviual companies and how well they can weather the storm. Some won’t survive and buying those on the dip would eventually result in total loss.
This is impossible to predict in any meaningful way, and the world is likely to be a very different place when all is done…
Added – the silver lining is that with limited travel (cars and planes alike and the commensurate emissions) the climate is likely to get some timely relief…
