
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported three new cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday morning.
There have now been 1,221 since the end of February.
1,020 cases have been resolved, meaning there are 86 active cases, which is seven fewer than there were on Tuesday.
Meantime, no additional deaths linked to the virus have been reported in two weeks, leaving that total unchanged at 115.
Just two outbreaks remain active – Forest Heights Revera long-term care home (active since April 1) and a workplace classified as retail on the region’s website.
Over 23,000 tests have been done locally for the coronavirus.
Here’s how the provincial numbers were reported Wednesday:
- 32,744 total cases (190 new)
- 27,784 resolved cases
- 2,550 deaths (12 new)
