
A Waterloo horse-racing enthusiast has admitted to a multimillion dollar fraud in which he used an investor’s money to fund a lavish lifestyle, Superior Court documents show.
Stephen Heimbecker’s fraudulent activity involved mortgage sales that were to provide investor Bradley J. Grant and Bradley J. Grant Investments significant interest and fees on money invested with Heimbecker through Nestig Inc., a Waterloo mortgage business owned by Heimbecker’s wife.
