Even since reviews for Forspoken dropped, its snarky sense of humor has proven to be very divisive. Still, if that witty banter bleeding over into gameplay is one of the things preventing you from picking up Forspoken, know that you can adjust the amount of dialogue Frey and Cuff have in the game’s settings.
As Frey explores Athia, she and Cuff often comment on what they see and other goings-on from their adventure. Cuff will also give audio cues during combat encounters that dynamically happen in the open world. Of course, these aren’t all purely informational, as Cuff and Frey will joke about what’s going on or boast about how amazing they are in an effort to show off to one another.
If this all proves to be too much for you, pause Forspoken and head on over to the Accessibility Settings tab of the Settings Menu. Forspoken features quite a few accessibility options, some of which have to do with Cuff’s functionality in the game. Scroll down to the Cuff Settings section of the Accessibility Settings tab, and you’ll see a Cuff Chat Frequency option.
“Adjust how often Frey and Cuff speak to one another,” the option’s description says. “The ‘minimal’ setting will mean that you will only hear dialogue required to advance the story.” You can set Cuff Chat Frequency to minimal, low, default, or high to modify how much Frey and Cuff speak to each other. From our experience, choosing low will only activate dialogue during critical combat scenarios or when you first arrive in a brand-new area, while selecting high will initiate quippy banter at almost any given opportunity. If you genuinely can’t stand Frey and Cuff, you’ll want to skip the game’s cutscenes and set Cuff Chat Frequency to minimal.
Hopefully, modifying Cuff Chat Frequency can make the game a little more bearable or entertaining for you. Forspoken launches on January 24 for PC and PlayStation 5.

New Mario Movie Trailer Reveals Seth Rogen's DK Voice And Cat Mario – GameSpot
Illumination has shared a brand-new look at The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which reveals the first look at Donkey Kong and Cat Mario.
The 30-second teaser features a scene from the movie where Mario, voiced by Chris Pratt, and Donkey Kong, Seth Rogen, will face off against each other in an arena on what could be Donkey Kong Island.
After being beaten up by Donkey Kong, Mario is able to punch a yellow question mark block, which gives him the Cat ability, turning him into Cat Mario. Now equipped with the yellow catsuit, Donkey Kong laughs and Rogen’s voice is heard for the first time as he threatens to kill Mario.
Princess Peach, played by Anya Taylor-Joy, and Keegan-Michael Key’s Toad are also glimpsed watching over the fight, along with a new Kong character and hundreds of others of the same species in the crowd. The cast will also be joined by Jack Black, who will play the movie’s villain Bowser, and Charlie Day as Luigi.

I’m a little old-fashioned, and I believe a handshake is still a powerful thing,” Brandon tells me when I ask him to tell me his best life lesson.
Born and raised in Kelowna, Brandon is a third-generation homebuilder/contractor in the Okanagan, but it took him a while to come around to it.
“While working in construction was rewarding in my teen years, I felt the need to continue my education and so I completed a computer engineering diploma, and shortly thereafter a commercial helicopter pilot license. However, the grounding and rewarding nature of construction always called me back.”
And what gets Brandon fired up about his work?
“Progress. One of the biggest things that keeps me going is looking at my progress at the end of every day, and being proud of what I’ve accomplished.”
Outside of work Brandon is passionate about aviation and the outdoors.
“I’ve always had a love for nature, whether it’s hunting, fishing or camping. I was fortunate enough to spend three years flying commercial helicopters in northern BC and Alaska, and got to see untouched nature in its glory.”
When it comes to style, Brandon describes his as “classic.”
“I’ve always been comfortable in a classic, simple style. To me, anything that makes you confident and comfortable is good style. If a person has the confidence, they exude style.”
