Vegas Golden Knights
Max Pacioretty and Mattias Janmark could be out when the Vegas Golden Knights host the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday (10 p.m. ET; ATTSN-RM, ALT, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
The forwards each left in the third period of a 3-1 loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Friday because of undisclosed injuries.
Pacioretty has scored 27 points (15 goals, 12 assists) in 25 games this season. Janmark has scored 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 47 games.
Forward Jonathan Marchessault and defenseman Dylan Coghlan did not play against the Coyotes because of the flu. It is unclear if they will play Saturday.
Marchessault has scored 35 points (20 goals, 15 assists) in 46 games this season. Coghlan has scored 11 points (three goals eight assists) in 40 games.
Ottawa Senators
Colin White will make his season debut for the Senators against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday (7 p.m. ET; SN1, CITY, SNE, TVAS, ESPN+, NHL LIVE) after missing 50 games recovering from shoulder surgery.
White had surgery after colliding with Toronto Maple Leafs forward David Kampf in a preseason game Oct. 4.
“What a tough road it’s been for [White],” Ottawa forward Connor Brown said. “He’s a great guy and a great player, so we’re really excited to have him back. I know he’s pumped to get it going and I know that he’s put in a lot of hard work over the months to get back.”
White centered a line with Parker Kelly and Austin Watson in practice Friday, but Senators coach D.J. Smith said White could see shifts at right wing with Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle against the Canadiens.
“He’s going to need some time to adjust,” Smith said. “It’s been forever since he’s played. And you can practice and you can do drills and you can do all the stuff you want, but when you get out there and you’re stuck out at the end of a shift, you can’t mimic that fatigue or game situation.” — Callum Fraser
Montreal Canadiens
Josh Anderson is expected to play for the Canadiens at the Ottawa Senators (7 p.m. ET; TVAS, SN1, CITY, SNE, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
The forward left a 4-0 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday after blocking a shot but practiced Friday. He has scored 21 points (12 goals, nine assists) in 41 games this season.
Forward Mathieu Perreault, who has not played since Dec. 14 because of a lower-body injury, will play. He has scored four points (three goals, one assist) in 14 games.
Philadelphia Flyers
Joel Farabee, Derick Brassard and Carter Hart returned to the lineup for the Flyers in a 2-1 win against the Washington Capitals on Saturday.
Farabee had an assist and one shot on goal in 20:28 of ice time after missing 11 games because of a shoulder injury.
Brassard had one shot on goal in 11:48 after missing five games with a recurring hip injury that had limited the center to three games since being injured Nov. 23.
Hart, who missed two games because of an eye infection, made 27 saves against the Capitals. — Adam Kimelman
