Waterloo Region, Ontario – A police investigation has resulted in a Kitchener youth being charged with uttering threats.
On February 25, 2022, at approximately 10:15 a.m., police received a report regarding threatening messages being sent via a social media platform to a youth at a Kitchener elementary public school.
As a result of the police investigation, a 14-year-old Kitchener youth has been charged with two counts of Utter Threats.
The victim and the suspect are known to each other, and there is no concern for public safety at this time.
