SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA load in Saskatoon’s wastewater has decreased by 55.9 per cent. This is based on averages of three individual daily measurements in the most recent reporting period which is compared to the weekly average of the previous weeks.
In Prince Albert the amount of COVID-19 in wastewater has increased by 148.7 per cent and in North Battleford it has reduced by 2.7 per cent. In all three communities, according to University of Saskatchewan researchers, the amount of SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA in wastewater is categorized as low.
