COVID-19: Delta residents share inspirational messages with chalk art – Delta-Optimist

Delta residents are sharing positive messages with chalk art on local sidewalks during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Optimist received a few submissions of photos showcasing art around town and then put a call out on Facebook for more chalk art pics.

Reader Mary Nielsen was out in the sunshine walking down Maple Crescent on the weekend when she spotted a “lovely display of chalk designs” and “bright colours and words of inspiration someone took time to create.”

Teresa Blackstone sent in this photo with a note that, “Tsawwassen is such a great community of supportive people. Our block decided to gather and practice a safe social distance while keeping connected to support each other.”
