The best standing desk in Canada for most people is the FlexiSpot EN1, listed at $209.99 with a 4.6-star average across 4,195 ratings. If you want a wider top for two monitors, the VIVO 59-inch desk is $299.95, and if you need to hold a heavy setup, the FlexiSpot E6 MAX is listed for up to 352 pounds at $519.99. The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, in its office ergonomics guidance, says a workstation should fit the person using it, so we ranked these on adjustment range, top size and listed capacity.

Ratings and review counts are as shown on each Amazon.ca listing on Nov. 7, 2026. Metric figures are our conversions of the inch and pound figures on the listings. Where a listing shows two different capacity figures, as the VIVO page does, we note it in the write-up.
Our picks: the best standing desks in Canada
No. 1, best for most people: FlexiSpot EN1 one-piece standing desk

This is the desk to start with if you want a sit-stand setup without a big spend. The listing describes a seamless one-piece top, a height range of 28.9 to 46.5 inches (about 73 to 118 cm), four memory presets and a stated capacity of 176 pounds (about 80 kg). The 40-inch by 24-inch top fits a laptop and one monitor, but it is tight for two. It was listed at $209.99, shipped and sold by FlexiSpot, the brand itself. Its 4.6-star average across 4,195 ratings is the largest sample of any FlexiSpot desk in this guide. A shorter top also means less room for a mouse pad and notebooks, so measure your space first. See the current price on Amazon.ca
No. 2, best wide top under $300: VIVO 59-inch electric standing desk

If you need more surface than the EN1 offers, the VIVO is the widest desk here under $300. The listing describes a one-piece top of about 59 by 23.6 inches, a single motor, a height range of 29.3 to 48.5 inches (about 74 to 123 cm) and four memory presets on a push-button controller that displays heights in centimetres. The listing text says the steel frame supports up to 176 pounds, while the product title says it holds 220 pounds, so ask the seller or read the manual before loading it heavily. It was $299.95, shipped and sold by V-I-V-O, the brand’s own store, with a 4.6-star average from 342 ratings. That is a smaller sample than the FlexiSpot models, so treat the rating as a good sign rather than a settled verdict. See the current price on Amazon.ca
No. 3, best with storage: FlexiSpot Comhar 48-inch desk with drawers

The Comhar is the pick for people who want pens, chargers and notebooks off the desktop. The listing describes a built-in pull-out drawer, an anti-collision system that stops and reverses the desktop when it meets an obstacle, four height presets, a child lock and integrated USB charging. The one-piece top is described as FSC-certified, and the height range is 28.9 to 46.5 inches. It was $359.99, shipped and sold by FlexiSpot, with a 4.6-star average across 1,702 ratings. It costs $150 more than the EN1, and most of that is the drawers and the wider 48-inch top, so skip it if you do not need storage. See the current price on Amazon.ca

No. 4, best for very short or very tall users: FlexiSpot E6 dual-motor desk

The E6 uses a three-stage lift, which the listing says gives a range of 23.6 to 49.2 inches (about 60 to 125 cm), wider than the two-stage desks above. That helps if you are well under or over average height, or if you share a desk. The listing also describes dual motors rated under 50 decibels, a 55-inch by 28-inch whole-piece top, programmable presets and a capacity of up to 220 pounds. It was $398.99, shipped and sold by FlexiSpot, and has a 4.5-star average across 401 ratings. A larger top and a stronger frame make it heavier and harder to assemble alone, so plan for a second pair of hands. See the current price on Amazon.ca
No. 5, best for heavier setups: FlexiSpot EC5 Classic dual-motor desk

The EC5 suits a desk that carries more than a laptop and a monitor. The listing describes three stages, dual motors under 45 decibels, a 24.4 to 50 inch range (about 62 to 127 cm), a solid 55-inch by 28-inch slab top and a total capacity of up to 287 pounds. It was $419.99, shipped and sold by FlexiSpot, and has a 4.5-star average across 233 ratings. Its price sits only $21 above the E6, so the decision comes down to the higher listed capacity and the slightly taller range. See the current price on Amazon.ca
No. 6, best for the heaviest loads: FlexiSpot E6 MAX dual-motor desk

The E6 MAX is the most capable and the most expensive desk here. The listing describes a solid 55-inch by 28-inch top, a 24.4 to 50 inch range, dual motors under 45 decibels, backlit controls with four memory buttons, and a capacity of up to 352 pounds (about 160 kg). It was $519.99, shipped and sold by FlexiSpot, and holds the highest rating in this guide at 4.7 stars. That rating comes from only 144 ratings, the smallest sample of the six, so it is less proven than the EN1. Most home offices will not need this much capacity, and paying $310 more than the EN1 only makes sense if you plan to load the desk heavily. See the current price on Amazon.ca
How we chose
We searched Amazon.ca for electric and dual-motor standing desks on Nov. 7, 2026 and looked for a rating of 4.4 stars or higher with at least 140 ratings. We opened each listing to read the specifications, price and seller, and we kept only desks shipped and sold by the brand’s own store. We left out popular desks sold by third-party sellers we could not tie to the brand, including the SHW, FEZIBO and IMHome models, and all desks under 4.4 stars. Specifications come from the Amazon.ca listings, and we read the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety’s office ergonomics guidance for what a workstation should allow. Five of the six picks are FlexiSpot desks because that brand sells directly on Amazon.ca across the price range. We did not test any of these desks, and we could not read individual owner reviews, so we do not describe owner praise or complaints.
How tall should my standing desk go?
The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety’s guidance centres on a setup that fits your body, with the keyboard at about elbow height whether you sit or stand. Check each listing’s lowest and highest height against your own measurements. A two-stage desk reaching about 73 cm at its lowest suits most seated adults, while the three-stage desks here go down to about 60 to 62 cm, which helps shorter users and children. If you are over about 190 cm tall, compare the top of the range, which runs from about 118 to 127 cm across these six.
Single motor or dual motor?
Dual-motor desks lift more weight and usually move more smoothly, and four of the six desks here are described that way. A single motor is enough for a laptop and one or two monitors. If you plan to add a large monitor arm, a computer tower or a heavy printer, the higher listed capacities of the EC5 and E6 MAX leave more room. Always add up your own equipment before you trust any capacity number.
When is the best time to buy a standing desk in Canada?
Black Friday is on Nov. 27 this year and Cyber Monday is Nov. 30. Furniture prices on Amazon.ca often move around big sale events, including Boxing Day and Prime Big Deal Days, but discounts are not guaranteed and differ by seller. We have not seen or promised a sale price for any desk in this guide. Compare the price on the listing to the Nov. 7 prices shown here before you buy.
Who it’s for, and who should skip it
These desks suit home offices, students and remote workers who want to switch between sitting and standing. If you have a medical condition that affects how you sit or stand, or you need equipment certified for a workplace, talk to a health professional or your employer’s health and safety team first. We make no health claims for any of these desks. Skip the wide desks if your room is small, and skip the dual-motor models if you only need a basic laptop setup.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best standing desk in Canada?
Based on listing specifications and ratings, the FlexiSpot EN1 at $209.99 is our top pick, with 4.6 stars across 4,195 ratings. The VIVO 59-inch desk at $299.95 is the best wider-top choice under $300.
How much does a good standing desk cost in Canada?
The six desks here range from $209.99 to $519.99 on Amazon.ca as of Nov. 7, 2026. Prices change often, so check each listing.
Is a standing desk with drawers worth it?
It depends on your space. The FlexiSpot Comhar adds a pull-out drawer, USB charging and a child lock for $359.99, which is $150 more than the EN1.
Do I need a dual-motor standing desk?
Not for a basic setup. A single motor is enough for a laptop and a monitor. Dual motors matter more when you add heavy equipment, because the listings for the E6, EC5 and E6 MAX state higher capacities.
Can I return a standing desk to Amazon.ca?
Return terms depend on the seller and the item, and large furniture can have different rules. These desks are sold by their brands, so read the return details on each listing page before you order.
