Some Uptown Waterloo businesses just got a lot more colourful.
The Hughes Lane Art Walk was officially unveiled on Thursday.
It runs parallel to King Street South, between William Street and Willis Way. It picks up again on the other side of the Uptown Parkade, through to Erb Street.
Back doors of businesses along that corridor have been painted by a handful of selected local artists.
That includes Marbles, McCabe’s, Hustl+Flow, King Street Trio, and Bud & Sally Cannabis Co.

According to the Uptown BIA, Hughes Lane was named after the City of Waterloo’s first ever woman Councillor – Anna Hughes.
