
EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – The province has confirmed two more Albertans have died and 80 have contracted COVID-19 within the last 24 hours.
NEW:

A total of 7,907 tested were conducted, with 1.01 per cent returning as positive to bring the active number of cases in the province to 1,397.
There are 88 people in hospital with 16 in intensive care units.
We actually saw a small dip in active cases- and that includes the 20-39 (415 to 404) and 30-39 (242 to 232).

Two additional deaths were confirmed and with one previous death being unrelated to COVID-19, 187 Albertans have died from the virus.
Both of the new deaths are from the Edmonton zone, one man in his 70s who died over the weekend, and another in his 80s, who’s case was linked to the outbreak at the Good Samaritan Southgate Centre.

• DOT Logistics: 7 cases (1 active, 6 recovered)
• FGL Sports Warehouse: 52 cases (5 active, 47 recovered)
• Fire N Ice Lounge: 47 cases (24 active, 23 recovered)
• High rise apartment building: 56 cases (all recovered)
• Private gathering: 27 cases (7 active, 20 recovered)
• Ride Cycle: 60 cases (34 active, 26 recovered)
• The Keg Steakhouse and Bar, South Pointe: 6 cases (all active)
• Trinity Lodge Retirement Residence: 18 cases (16 active, 2 recovereD)
