Sarnia’s first confirmed COVID-19 case since June 21 was reported Friday by Lambton public health.
The total number of cases is now 286. Of those 257 have been resolved, leaving four active – still considered contagious – cases.
There have been 25 deaths in Sarnia-Lambton from the disease, but none since June 6.
There are zero institutional outbreaks after one at Afton Park Place long-term care home was declared over Thursday.
Of the 12,835 test results received to date, 2.2 per cent have been positive for COVID-19, public health officials said.
