
Quebec has recorded 171 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 58,414, the provincial government announced Saturday.
That’s up from 163 cases reported on Friday.
Two new deaths were reported, as well as one from before July 18. The death toll is now 5,666.
The number of hospitalizations decreased by 14 and now stands at 206.
Among those in hospitals, 12 are in intensive care.
A total of 16,440 people were tested on Thursday, the last day for which screening data is available.
The Montreal region recorded 85 new cases, for a total of 28,425.
