Brendan Gallagher and Josh Anderson led the Canadiens with one goal and two assists each to help Montreal to a 5-1 win over Winnipeg.
The Canadiens’ other goals were scored by Lane Hutson, Phillip Danault and Oliver Kapanen, while Kyle Connor scored the Jets’ lone tally.
Goaltender Sam Montembeault made 36 saves in the win, posting a .973 save percentage.
