Avalanche expect Landeskog, Lehkonen, O’Connor back before playoffs

Landeskog is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury. The captain has nine goals and 20 points for a plus-26 mark through 47 appearances this year, his first regular-season campaign since 2021-22.

The forward endured a three-year hiatus from hockey due to lingering knee injuries before returning during Colorado’s first-round playoff series against Dallas last season. Landeskog ended up playing five games, registering a goal and an assist, while the Avalanche were eliminated by the Stars in seven games.

Lehkonen suffered an upper-body injury against the Los Angeles Kings on March 2. He’s totalled 19 goals and 23 assists through 59 games this year.

O’Connor has yet to play this season after undergoing off-season hip surgery. The winger had 10 goals and 11 assists last season.

The Avalanche currently have the best record in the NHL with 95 points.
