VICTORIA — Provincial health officials are reporting 115 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C. Wednesday, though just one of them is within Interior Health.
B.C. will likely eclipse the 10,000 case mark Thursday. As of Wednesday, the province has seen 9,956 cases of the virus, spread out as follows:
- 3,644 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 32)
- 5,119 — Fraser Health (up by 81)
- 222 — Island Health (up by 1)
- 557 — Interior Health (up by 1)
- 325 — Northern Health (up by 1)
- 89 — Reside outside of Canada (down by 1)
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says there are 1,387 active cases of COVID-19 in B.C., including 71 people in hospital and 15 in intensive care.
