Report: Raptors acquire Chris Paul from Clippers in three-team trade

The Raptors acquired the veteran point guard in a three-team trade with the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.

As part of the deal, the Raptors will send Ochai Agbaji, a 2032 second-round pick and cash to the Brooklyn Nets.

Charania reports that the Raptors will not require Paul to report to Toronto, and could still discuss trades involving him before Thursday’s deadline.

But the deal gets the Raptors out of the luxury tax.
