Kyle Reyes and Coralie Godbout added a pair of judo medals to Canada’s tally Sunday at the Commonwealth Games.
Reyes, a 32-year-old from Brampton, Ont., captured gold in the men’s -100-kilogram discipline, swiftly defeating England’s Max Gregory 1-0 in the final.
The 25-year-old Godbout of Lévis, Que., took down India’s Ishroop Narang 1-0 to win bronze in the women’s -78-kilogram weight class.
Canada has now claimed seven judo medals at the Games, including four gold.
The Commonwealth Games wrap Sunday evening after 10 days of competition.
Quebec City’s Julien Frascadore will carry Canada’s flag into the closing ceremony at Glasgow’s Hydro arena after winning judo gold in the men’s -66-kilogram category.
