World Investment Map reveals global FDI flows – Investment Monitor

According to our FDI Projects Database, greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) declined by 18% between 2019 and 2020. Covid-19 was the primary cause as country lockdowns caused site selections to either stall or be cancelled. Our World Investment Map below shows greenfield FDI flows between countries. You can filter the results to show inbound or outbound flows to/from a specific country. This allows you to see the key FDI partners and how the number of projects changes over time.
