A pair of young women’s golf stars will be teeing it up at the SoFi Center.
Lottie Woad and Rose Zhang have committed to play in the inaugural WTGL season, the league announced on Tuesday.
Woad, ranked 11th worldwide, is a former No. 1 amateur who won the Augusta Women’s National Amateur tournament in 2024. The 22-year-old England native then won her first pro start at the Scottish Open last season.
Zhang, also a former top amateur and ANWA winner, likewise won her first professional stat at the 2023 Mizuho Americas Open. The 22-year-old Stanford product was a two-time NCAA individual champion and first-team All-American.
Woad and Zhang join Canada’s Brooke Henderson, Lexi Thompson, Jeeno Thitikul, Lydia Ko and Charley Hull in the women’s screen-golf league, which is set to debut in late 2026.
Teams are yet to be determined.
Similar to the TGL, competition will take place in a regular season and playoff format and franchises will have the same city or region base.
