The intersection of Kensington Road and Exhibition Drive in Charlottetown was set to reopen to traffic by the end of the day Friday, Oct. 23, the City of Charlottetown said.
Exhibition Drive will keep operating as a one-way street in the eastbound direction, from Kensington Road to Riverside Drive, the city said in a traffic advisory. Motorists are asked to use caution and follow posted signs.
The closure was part of the Exhibition Drive Redevelopment Project, which the city said is continuing and is expected to run over the coming weeks as crews finish the next phase of construction. The city thanked the public for its patience.
The Kensington Road closure has been extended and updated several times since late September, according to the city’s news page. Drivers heading east on Exhibition Drive should expect the one-way pattern to remain in place while work continues.
