Two males in stolen vehicle
The Guelph Police Service is investigating after two males attended a downtown business Tuesday in a stolen vehicle.
Police were called approximately 11:30 a.m. to a business near Gordon Street and Wellington Street West. The caller reported two males in the store, one of whom had stolen from the business a week earlier.
The males were gone when officers arrived. A review of surveillance video revealed they were driving a black Mazda Tribute which had been reported stolen from Peel Region. Both males were described as being in their mid-40s with brown skin. One had a bushy beard and was wearing a grey hoodie under a blue jacket, khaki pants and a dark baseball cap. The second had a thin build and was wearing a grey jacket, jeans, brown shoes and a blue baseball cap.

Deck sawed to steal bike
The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a bicycle was stolen from a home by sawing through a deck post.
On Monday morning police were called to a home around Dufferin Street and Stull Avenue. The homeowner reported sometime overnight someone entered the back yard and stole a red Trek mountain bike which had been chained to the back deck by sawing through a wooden post.

Male taken off road for stunt driving
A Guelph male was taken off the road Tuesday after he was caught driving nearly twice the speed limit.
A member of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit was patrolling on Victoria Road North near Grange Street just after 3 p.m. when he clocked a vehicle travelling 94 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
A 35-year-old Guelph male is charged with speeding and stunt driving. His driver’s licence was suspended 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
