Lakers’ Luka Doncic out Saturday vs. Trail Blazers

Luka Doncic won’t play against the Portland Trail Blazers due to left groin soreness, the team announced Friday.

The five-time All-Star joins fellow starter Austin Reaves on the sidelines. Deandre Ayton and Jaxson Hayes are also questionable with knee injuries.

Doncic is averaging an NBA-high 33.4 points per game to go along with 8.8 assists and 7.9 rebounds across 31 games.

The Lakers have gone 4-3 without Doncic this season. They sit fifth in the West at 24-15.
