Ella Huber is heading back to Boston.
The forward, who signed with PWHL Detroit as part of the expansion process, was dealt back to the Fleet for a 2026 second-round pick, the clubs announced on Tuesday.
Boston and Detroit also swapped 2026 third-round picks in the trade.
Huber, 24, registered six points (four goals, two assists) while playing all 30 games during her rookie campaign with the Fleet last season. She added two assists in four post-season games.
The Northfield, Ill., native previously spent four seasons at the University of Minnesota.
Earlier Tuesday, Detroit announced a trade for U.S. star Hilary Knight, sending the third-overall pick to Las Vegas in return.
The PWHL entry draft is slated for Wednesday in the Michigan city.
