He likes knowing his artwork is helping give people a place to connect, especially during the pandemic.
“It gives you something to look at, something to do (and) visit,” he said.
Recurring themes in the pieces are rainbows, bright colours and flowers, said Cameron, although she added that unicorns also make a frequent appearance.
“I think people are quite touched by it, and I’ve noticed we have a lot more traffic in the alley this year anyway with people needing to get outside, people needing to walk,” she said, noting people are also walking at a more leisurely pace than usual now.
“People are hungry to connect and people have their eyes open and want to see something new, so it’s a really special time for the gallery.”
