The Kamloops Arts Council is putting the finishing touches on one of the biggest art exhibits in the region.
Art Exposed will run at the Old Courthouse Cultural Centre from March 3 to March 12. It features art of any media, including paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry, pottery and photography, from artists across the Thompson-Nicola region.
Works submitted to the exhibit will be on display until March 12, with many of them also up for sale. About 200 pieces from 120 artists are expected at the show.
On the opening night, March 3, a judges’ panel will award prizes and honourable mentions and, the next day, artists will receive feedback from jurors.
