Ucluelet RCMP renew appeal in Morgan Drew disappearance

Ucluelet RCMP renewed their call for public help on Tuesday in the disappearance of Morgan Drew, who has been missing for more than a year.

Drew was reported missing from Campbell River, B.C., on Sept. 29, 2025, police said. His grey Volkswagen Golf was found on Oct. 10, 2025, at the trailhead for the Lost Shoe Trail, at Highway 4 and West Main Road in Ucluelet.

Police said they have followed up on leads, and searches using West Coast Inland Search and Rescue, an RCMP police dog and drones have so far been unsuccessful.

Drew was last seen wearing an olive-green military fatigue jacket, blue jeans and black shoes, according to the RCMP.

Anyone with information is asked to contact their local police. The RCMP release includes photos of Drew.
