Calgary’s most expensive house for sale is still the $10.75-million estate on Crescent Road, now posted on REW.ca for 538 days. The biggest move on this month’s list came just below it, where a Mount Royal home designed by Jeremy Sturgess took $800,000 off its asking price.
What changed since October: Compared with our October list, one home is new and one has left. A $5.4-million house in Briar Hill enters at No. 10. A $5.6-million Bel-Aire home, No. 9 last month, no longer appears as an active listing on REW.ca. The Mount Royal home on Montreal Avenue dropped to $6.1 million from $6.9 million and stays at No. 4. The other eight homes kept the same asking price.
The city’s high end remains far below Toronto’s: the 10th-priciest house here asks $5.4 million, compared with $16.9 million in Toronto. See our national list for the country’s top asking prices. The Bank of Canada raised its policy rate by a quarter point to 2.5 per cent on Oct. 28, and CREA reported that national sales fell 7.7 per cent from a year earlier in September as it cut its 2026 forecast for a third time.
How we built this list: We ranked detached houses within Calgary by asking price, using active listings on REW.ca checked individually on Nov. 4, 2026. A listing not posted on REW.ca would not appear here. Two northeast Calgary acreages asking $6.999 million and $6.75 million are excluded because they are marketed for redevelopment or future development. Condos, land and multi-unit properties are also out, including a $7.175-million condo in Eau Claire, a $45-million parcel in Royal Oak and a $7.75-million multi-unit property in Cliff Bungalow. We make no claim about who owns any of these homes.
